One-piece molded design allows a smooth interior for egg rotation and water flow. Simply direct water flow to the inner tube and adjust as needed until the eggs rotate uniformly at the bottom of the jar. Generally, it requires around 1.0 gpm.
The fish hatching jar comes with a top screen that prevents the loss of eggs. When the fish hatch, remove the screen to let the fish swim out. Commonly used for trout, salmon, hybrid striped bass, tilapia, and many other fish species. The jar can hold up to 100,000 trout eggs, but is dependent on the species, water flow, and water quality.
