Commercial Skid Filtration Systems

Skid-mounted filtration systems offer a ‘plug and play’ life support filtration arrangement that arrives pre-plumbed and ready to install into your aquatic system.  

All commercial skid units come mounted on a fiberglass platform to withstand conditions in your aquatic facility. Units include a Speck Nautica variable speed pump for energy efficient operation and are suitable for self-priming or flooded-suction applications in either freshwater or saltwater environments. The floating bead filter offers the operator an air assisted backwash for worry free maintenance while the ultraviolet light provides 30,000 µWs/cm² to inactivate nuisance algae and bacteria in your aquatic system.

Premium Commercial Skid Unit plumbing comes complete with Asahi true union ball valves and RK2 XFLO ultraviolet light technology. Standard Commercial Skid Units are plumbed with Spears fittings and Lifegard Promax ultraviolet light technology. All plumbing connections on the Premium and Standard Commercial Skid Units allow for future maintenance including a bypass around the UV units.
