PVC Cement
Oatey® PVC Regular Bodied Fast Set Clear Cement is recommended for potable water, pressure pipe, conduit and DWV applications. It can be used for use on all schedules and classes of PVC pipe and fittings up to 4 in. for Sch. 40 and up to 2 in. for Sch. 80 with interference fit. Recommended application temperature 40°F to 110°F / 4°C to 43°C. Sold as 16 oz. container.
PVC Primer
Oatey® Purple Primer is an NSF-listed, aggressive primer for use on all schedules and classes of PVC and CPVC pipe and fittings. It removes contaminants such as surface dirt, grease and grime as well as softens the pipe surface to allow for a fast, secure solvent weld. This primer's purple tint provides visible verification that a primer has been used, which is ideal for areas where plumbing code require this proof. Not recommended for use on ABS piping installations. Sold as 16 oz. container.
